Are you a dynamic tennis professional with a passion for teaching, leadership, and community? Seacoast Tennis Club, a member-owned, year-round facility located in the charming coastal town of North Hampton, NH, is seeking an experienced Tennis Professional to lead our tennis programs and foster a love of the game in players of all ages and skill levels.
About Seacoast Tennis Club
Our club offers a vibrant tennis community, featuring eight total well-maintained indoor and outdoor courts and a welcoming atmosphere for players at all levels. With a rich history and strong member base, Seacoast Tennis Club is dedicated to promoting the sport of tennis, cultivating a sense of camaraderie, and providing exceptional experiences for its members year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Develop, coordinate, and oversee a comprehensive range of tennis programs, including adult clinics, private lessons, competitive leagues, and junior development.
- Coaching Excellence: Provide high-quality instruction to players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors, focusing on skill development, strategy, and enjoyment of the game.
- Member Engagement: Foster strong relationships with club members, creating a welcoming environment and building excitement around tennis activities.
- Event Management: Organize and execute club tournaments, social events, and interclub competitions, ensuring all events are well-run and enjoyable.
- Facility Collaboration: Work closely with club management to ensure the smooth operation of tennis facilities and the development of new initiatives to enhance member experiences.
Qualifications
- Tennis Expertise: USPTA or PTR certification (Elite or Professional level preferred). A strong playing background is highly desirable (college or professional experience a plus).
- Teaching Experience: Proven track record of success in coaching and program development for both juniors and adults.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing a team, with a collaborative and inspiring approach to leadership.
- Event & Program Development: Creative and organized, with the ability to develop and execute engaging tennis activities.
- Passion for Tennis: Enthusiastic, approachable, proactive and committed to fostering a love for tennis within the community.
